As an independent and Afghan-led strategic advisory firm, ACSTD’s credibility depends on impartiality and professionalism. To protect this, we have clear standards on conflicts of interest.
This means:
Declaration: All staff, consultants, and members must declare any personal, financial, or political interests that could influence their work.
Avoidance: We do not permit individuals to participate in decisions where conflicts exist.
Transparency: Any potential conflict is documented and addressed openly.
Organizational neutrality: ACSTD does not endorse political parties or factions. Our work serves the public interest and the mission of advancing peace, democracy, and resilience.
Managing conflicts of interest safeguards the independence of our research, analysis, and advisory services, and ensures the trust of partners and communities.
